H20
h20 is an interactive light installation with dynamic lights synchronizing with music. Each led is controllable which makes h20 an ever-changing space.
h20 is inspired by Timaeus, a dialogue by Plato. He claims that the minute particle of each element had a special geometric shape: tetrahedron (fire), octahedron (air), icosahedron (water), and cube (earth).
According to Plato, water is composed of icosahedrons. Fluid water brings life to the world, brings existence to creatures. By gazing at h20, you will isolate yourself from the surrounding world and enter into the purest element, feeling the most primitive connection with yourself.
There is a secret hidden in h20, since you go this far to read this text, I’ll let you know. There is a door to enter inside h20. Yes, there is another world inside h20. If you have the chance to enter it, you will experience a world with only you and yourself, discovering your inner world in an infinity space. h20 encourages people to search the voice inside themselves.
h20 is composed of twenty pieces of triangular shaped semi-reflective glass, with dynamic LED strips on each sides of each triangle. Light syncs with the music. Creative programming and all the structure developed and made by Bast.
