ŚLĄSKI

This is a project collaborated with Silesian Museum for the exhibition "For You, Poland. Śląsk ”.

Silesia is an industrial region of Poland, known mainly for coal mining and beautiful culture. Coal is such a diamond of Silesia. “ŚLĄSKI” light installation represents diamonds and the beautiful culture of Silesia.

About the exhibition

The open-air exhibition "For You, Poland. Śląsk ”, prepared by the Silesian Museum in Katowice on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Silesia's return to the Motherland, was carried out as part of the celebration of the centenary of regaining independence and the rebuilding of Polish statehood.

The exhibition shows the history and contribution of Silesia to the development of Poland from the Middle Ages to the Second Polish Republic. The presented milestones in the history of the region as well as historical and cultural curiosities are intended to bring Silesia to the entire territory of Poland.

The exhibition is mobile - it will be presented in several cities. From June 20 to July 16 2022. is available in the courtyard of the Pałac pod Blachą in Warsaw.
